They are feather sexable, which means that you don’t have to wait for chicks to reach maturity to identify their gender. At 3 weeks old, feather-sexable females have spotted chests, males have solid-colored chests. That means you can select your breeding groups and separate extra males before they reach maturity, which can prevent incidents of aggression!
